Leveraging artificial intelligence and single-cell omics big data, we are now able to define the fundamental distinctions between different types of cells, such as the distinction between mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and stem cells.
Importantly, we established a platform for the preparation of a large scale of medicinally active cells for personalized application.
Health rejuvenation is a personalized process in response to different interventions. The availability of medicinally active cells prepared by standardized procedures provides a feasibility for personalized health rejuvenation.
However, the efficacy of health rejuvenation relies on the homing of the infused cells to the target tissue, which is influenced by the microenvironment of the injured tissue. We developed strategies using organs-on-a-chip technologies to define the optimum timing of cell administration.
